Assistant Directing Debut

In the Fall of 2016, I began working for the first time as an assistant director on Anna Kohler's immersive and provocative memoir. I had the pleasure of directing the incorporation of various technological elements, assisting with the direction of actors, and fully immersing myself in the production process.

Performer Direction and Script Doctoring

As assistant director, I worked on the script for the show, running lines with actors, standing in where necessary, and maintaining versions. Below is an excerpt from a scene where there are three parallel storylines developing on stage:

Projection Mapping and Design

We designed a simplistic set for the production that mainly utilized three projection screens. We used various animation and live-video segments to enhance the storytelling.
