Conceptual Design Process

With the goal of re-imagining how the robots of the future might look and function, I sought to design a mechanical way for robots to interact with humans more naturally.

Design, Engineering and Construction

My design process spanned several months and included several prototypes, complete redesigns, and many setbacks. However, the final product resulted in two fully-functioning robotic hamster balls able to communicate, move independently, and sense their environment.
